E40D vs. ??

Are there any other Ford (non electronically controlled) trannys that are the same length as the E40D? Just curious. -Alan-

The only other option is the AODE,(4R70W) which was also used in the vans, it's shorter than the E4OD if I'm not mistaken. Unless you want to include the older C6, of which the E4OD was based on. Those may be the same length, there were I think three tail shaft lengths, the longest may be the same or close to it.
