Big Truck Frame Width?

I have a Ford Script 9' stakebed left over from my last project. It's made for the 34" frame width of my '59 F350. My '37 1 1/2 ton has a frame width of 38" IIRC. Thinking about a '47 1 1/2 ton truck that could follow me home. Does anyone know it the frame on that would be the more standardized 34" width? Thanks, Gary

Gary - yes, the jail bar era big trucks have SAE standard 34" frame width at the rear, 32" in the front. My reference is the 1946 Salesman's Handbook. You "need" that '47! Stu

Thanks! I want to set up the '37 as a period style 'short logger', so the flatbed that's on my '60 parts truck would go on the '47. (If I cave in to that little guy on my shoulder)...... yeah, that's him.
