I bought a '99 F250 7.3l and on the door it says this vehicle is equipped with hypertech but I do not have a control module. I thought maybe someone removed everything however, I hooked my superchips tuner from my F350 after I reset the tune to the F350 so I could use it on the F250. Once I tried to tune the F250 it said error can not tune( something along those lines). Am I missing something to this or...

Any help would be appreciated

 

It could be that someone downloaded a tune from Hypertech to your PCM and never returned it to stock. Your Superchips may not be able to overwrite it.
