First I have searched and im having trouble locating the sensor. I have a '99 f250 and F350. The 250 through the P0107 code and Ive read that the PCM could be the issue so I swapped it out with the dually. I am still throwing the same code, so I swapped out the MAP and I swapped out the both gas pedals( thought thats where a sensor was) Cant find the sensor that supposed to be under the dash on the right side of the steering column. The dually is not throwing any codes even after I swapped out the PCM and MAP. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Early build 1999 vehicles have the sensor located behind the hush panel underneath the steering wheel. Late build 1999 vehicles up to 2003 have the sensor located inside the PCM.
Hypothetically speaking, if you swapped the PCM from the F350 (which may be an early 1999), you'll end up with the same code if it's put in the F250 should it be a late 1999.
Without knowing which vintage each is, it's hard to take random guesses at where we should burn your money for you. Just as a start, what are the PCM box codes for either pickup?
