I just dislike Chevy's personally. Lol. I am currently working on a build in my 98 Ranger and I will be just upgrading the 4cyl, but I intend on getting every bit of 500RWHP out of it. I have no hate for crossbreeds as I am also building an 84 fiero with a Eagle Talon 2.0 turbo motor. xD

Two or Four wheel drive? If Four wheel drive what Tcase are you going to run? And unless you already have the sbc 400 I wouldn't run it, I'd look into the LS series motors or find a 4 bolt main 350 and build it up a lil and put some vortec heads on it, them 400s have bad cooling problems unless you drill out the steam ports but then you need to watch out for the cyl walls, Just my two cents

6bolt or 7bolt? My 92 had a 6bolt and my 93 had a 7bolt? They started putting the ****ty 7bolts in the cars in 1992.5
