Flexplate

I am getting ready to put a flexplate on a rebuilt 351W that I am putting in my 93 Bronco. How do you know what orientation to install the flexplate? The six holes on the flexplate line up with the threaded holes on the engine in two places, 180° apart. Only one of these positions is correct. How do I know which?

There is only one position all six bolts will line up. There is another position all but one will line up and it is only off about 1/4 of the bolt hole.
