Flexplate installation
This is a really stupid thing to be hung up on, but how do I align the flexplate on my 302?

Its a '88, 50oz imballance IIRC, I see the flexplate has a notch in one bolt hole, that looks like it could be used for keying, but I'm not sure what to key it to.

The bolt holes are not symmetrical. The only way you can do it wrong is install the plate with the studs facing the wrong way.

I went wrong


I lost a bolt for the flexplate. 3 302s in my shop torn down, and I can't find a spaare...
