Wow...just wow. I can't believe some people still buy into that old wives tale. I thought we debunked that internet myth a long time ago, n'est-ce pas?
Once again, for the gullible....do NOT rotate summer air for winter air in your tires! Summer air is less dense. Winter air is colder and more dense. So summer air weighs less, and provides much better fuel mileage than winter air. Think: Less rotating mass, less unsprung weight.
Class dismissed.

Oh ! Now you tell me ! After all the years Rotate , deflate , inflate .... LOL
Not sure if you're messing around but we use Nitrogen is our tires up here, less/no change with the temp cycles.......
Yes . just messing around . Seen the Nitrogen scam here locally ! A " few " tire chains charge for that Scam in my area . Not saying it is a bad idea , Nitrogen stays in a tire longer than standard compressed air . But some scam consumers !
Most vehicle manufacturers are going to nitrogen because of the ture pressure monitoring sensors in the tires. It doesn't have moisture in it that can damage the sensor
Correct ! PURE nitrogen in tires , is a plus ! Problem is , most dealers can not provide it . Nitrogen in tires drasticly reduces running temps . Nitrogen stays in the tires longer . Put super singles on a truck , run nitrogen , good results . I sold tires for major tire company in the 90's . Haven't kept up with the industry as much as I should have .
