Like the title says the tranny line ruptured and tranny fluid caught fire on exhaust. It burned the tranny harness and i can't find a harness, anywhere. If anyone has info where i can get one i would appreciate it. If not is there any one that has a wiring diagram for the tranny harness.
2004 f150 heritage (old body style) 4.6L, 4r70 4x4 maual shift transfer case(not shift on the fly).
Any help is greatly appreciated.
thanks
Jeff
The harness goes up by the right side of the motor.
It should have a tag with the part number on.
Go to a dealer with this number or tag.
Or they should be able to ID the harness for you.
Expect to pay at least $120 for a new harness.
The harness feeds power to and returns signals from the transmission and the all 4 OX sensors.
A fuse is involved as well.
Good luck.
Ford no longer has the tranny harness. can't find any in junk yards. if anyone has a schematic i would greatly appreciate it.
2003 or 2004 heritage f150 4x4 with manual transfercase, 4.6L, 4r70w transmission.
Thank you
