P1747 is a short in the pressure control circuit. Sounds like you need to pull the trans harness loose and tear into it to find the short.

up date /? will swaping the harness make any more stuff go wrong now i get a tranny range fault p708 still have the old one but had to swap the safty switch out will get the new one this week just not sure where to go with the first faul p1747 which is the epc

P708 is trans range sensor high-could be a damaged MLPS.

up ate well its in the shop the mech isnt sure whats wrong iam starting to lean tord the ecu because i runs like crape the tc i lock at 100% with key in run its just keeps geing better
well update the mech found 2 wires on the calem lose one by the ingtion and the othere was going to the flasher now he is going to replace the epc and said should be done we will see
up date the he mech called said the temp senser went bad so he changed it and it stayed the same which also put it in to limp so now as i thought the ecu is bad should have just changed it and saved my self 600.bones but hay ive been right so far i just second guessed what i thought was wrong never agine should have it in on monday
last up date well the mech did a dreat job fixed the truck it was the ecu and a bad ground wire on the cab who would have gussed that a tranny code would lead to a computer anyway trucks fix 400 bucks not bad
