Air ride on a 67 to 72 F100 that has I-Beams? Yes it has been done; but you will have to fabricate everything for the front as I do not think there is a "kit" for this application. IMO, do the CV swap.

Fabrication isn't a problem. Do you have any idea on how much?

Ride Tech's control system starts at $800. Add the bags and fab to adapt and you're looking at another $1,000 minimum.

Sounds like you've got homework to do:

Why don't you do the CV IFS swap first then do the air ride? Seems like a better way to go rather than air bagging the twin I beam. I am swapping CV IFS and Mark V111 IRS in to my '71 F100 Short Bed. I can bag it down the road but I am going to do lowed springs first for pure performance in turns.

I agree; if u are willing to do fab work, trash the I beam and install the cv. You can notch the fame where you putthecv together it a little lower. That would be what I would do.

I don't know. You don't hear of anybody putting them in their trucks. I know that.

I picked the 2005 model year as an example. On the main crossmember Ford part number 4W1Z5C145AA it is listed as fitting all three cars. As well as the upper control arms. On the lower arms it is possible the Town car may have different ones. But the Merc and the Ford take the same part numbers. So I wouldn't be afraid of a Marquis unit. The Ford would most likely be sprung stiffer. Especially the Police version.
