Help getting oasis report!

Can someone help me get an oasis report on this vehicle. I went to two dealers they looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for an oasis report on this vehicle. They didn't ask for money just said they coulldn't do it. I found this truck for sale and its very clean but, before I proceed any further I need all the info I can get on this 2006 Ford F-250SD XL, 2 door Truck, 6 Power Stroke 6.0L V8 DI , 32V OHV Turbodiesel, Manual Trans,Dark Toreador Red, Medium Flint Int. color, 44,554 milege and here is the vin 1FTSF20P66ED66864 . They are asking $12,386 . Hope someone on here can help? This little exp. with two different dealers just validates why I dislike going to the dealers period. Hope to hear back! Thanks

did you speak with a salesperson or go to the service dept and speak with a service advisor?

Sometimes it helps to grease the skids with the potential to use them for work on the truck if there are some outstanding issues.

+1 Go to the service desk. It should not be that hard to get the Oasis report from the service counter. I have always got them from any dealer I have been to while looking for a truck. The O report should not be that big of a deal.

Well, I got the oasis report! It was not a problem at all once I took your suggestions and went to right desk at this dealership. The report is only 2 pages long. I really dont know how to read this report. There is 0 campaign messeges found in the outstanding field service action. The 2nd page shows the warranty repair history and this history is only 2 lines long. The rest is just blank page. I think I should take this as a good thing? Maybe that means I should get ready for some steep repair bills? Don't know to run or get that $12,000 price tag knocked down some.

Line 1 prt # bxt 65850 mtrcraft battery labor op # 10654c17
Line 2 prt # bxt 65750 mtrcraft batery labor op # 10654ca

End of Report

What little I understand about this report appears to overall clean.

Sorry for the information overload. I'm just not familiar the 6.0l powerstrokes . I had 93 5.9l cummins that was great truck. It did nickel and dime me to death. I got rid of it and now want another diesel. I miss the smell the noise and the power.

Now that the excitement is over with and I look at this 2nd page again. I finally noticed "Click Here for Full Warranty History". I'll be going back to the service dept. and asking them to click their. I spent a few hours last night reading these forums about 6.0l powerstroke. I read some really positive stories but, most of the stories are people seeking advice on fixing 1 of 4 things if not all four things. FICM, HPOP, EGR and HG. Kinda feel like I would be taking a big gamble with getting a truck that would allow me to be one of the positive stories. I understand our vehicles require maintenance. My truck now(great truck) has 277,+++ miles and literally my only expense has been Trans fluid(gear oil), Engine oil, Rear Diff Fluid(gear oil), filters,etc... No repairs yet(knock on wood(my head)). What a dilemma ! Is it worth the risk? Thanks for listening

There is some great useful information right there...If it looks good, and the truck checks out buy it The 6.0's aren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be.

So, I went back to service dept. today and asked if they would "click here for full warranty history"(ref. page 2 of oasis report). This is what came back.
