After looking at what little info that I have on the truck. I'm going to go and attempt to get the price knocked down 12,386 to ? Is starting at 8k cash just to ridiculous or should I go lower/higher? Could I get some suggestions on the most effective way to handle this? Thanks

With a clean OASIS and clean carfax I am not sure why you think you need to lowball the seller. Find out what book value is in your area and work around that. There is nothing I dislike more that someone trying to rip me off with a stupidly low offer. If the truck is clean the price seems fair.
Hey immac10 just seeing the info you have, it sounds like it is a good truck. I have a 06 f-250 super duty fx4 with 91514 miles, and my oasis report shows no warrienty work or problems reported. I would have your oil & filter changed, also your fuel filters too. Have your air filter checked too. Good luck.........
Thanks for the suggestions everyone! I don't like it when people low ball me. Thanks for checking me on that. The price has been dropped it was listed for $14988.
Get the 6.0 as cheap as you can. Follow the advice in this thread to find every flaw in the engine you can and wiggle that price down until he either says yes or makes you leave him alone: www.ford-trucks.com/forums/969253-buying-a-used-6-0l.html
Trim level is going to make the price somewhat-reasonable or absolutely bat**** insane. The '04 had better be at least a Lariat, more like a King Ranch for that price. XLT or XL, the guy is nuts. Down here an 03-04 KR with less than 200k can get $10-15k since there's normally zero rust on the entire truck, so if it seems like a solid chassis and you do the homework on the engine, that would be the better deal.
I'm just going to reiterate how important it is to go through the entire thread I posted a link to, to understand ALL of it, and to be willing to do what it says. If you don't and then buy a lemon, it's going to cost you a lot more than some time and buying a Scangauge up front will.
You may want to check out the thread referenced above, and follow the advice there.
I went sat. and drove the truck, took some pics, made offer,etc... Salesman tells me the they bought the truck for 14,500 and they're selling it for 14,900. When it's been advertised for 12,386 for almost a week. I showed 10k cash and pretty much no response so I left my phone number. Today the truck is being advertised 10,988. The inside is very clean. The radio button is wore down to complete white plastic. The seat has to be brand new just don't make sense. Maybe I'm looking too much into and being over critical. Very interesting! Here's some frame pics, please forgive the poor pic quality.
In my area Nada price is as follows, Clean retail is $14,850 , Clean trade in is 11,850. I would offer him $11,000 i guess..
Your pretty much spot on, they dropped the price to $10,988. I offered 10 and literally got no response. He did email today and say they'll just send it back to auction. If no one responds to $10,988.
Thanks for tip. I'm just going to go to every Ford dealer in Houston until I find someone who is willing to help out. I'll keep you updated.
I very highly recommend Joe Myers Ford out on 290 @ the Beltway. Been taking my trucks there religiously just to get the wonderful service from them. If you ever head over there to the service department, see Joe Courtney...great great guy. He'll do anything he possibly can to help you out, even if you arent a 'regular' or 'familiar face' there.
