headlight switch question.

headlight switch question.
I have a 67 f100, and the brake lights wont go off, if I unplug the headlight switch then they go off. They didn't always do this and I have not messed with the wiring, does this mean the problem is in the switch?

I thought that the running lights should come one when I pull the switch out to the first notch, which is true for the front. should it be the same in the rear? the switch works everything else fine.

well, lol. the redneck fix all has stayed true to itself. I took the headlight switch and banged it on the garage floor a few times and now my tail lights go off. But I do not get brake lights, would the brake lights be on the same fuse as the dome light?

That little fuse box say what fuse goes into it. It has raised lettering but you need to get up close with some cheaters on to see the small print. Test for power at the brake light switch.
