Here's a slight twist. This starter is a Napa Power Supreme which carries a lifetime warranty. But no receipt, no warranty. Guy says he needs proof of purchase. I said, it says NAPA on it! Lol. Ugh

They don't have a computer record of the receipt?

For a rusty starter, the NAPA sticker is sure in good shape....

It is! Well I bought this truck off my old boss. Called him and he found the receipt, so I'm hoping to manage new batteries and a starter all under warranty!

That would be a good deal for you Todd. Just in time for cold months too.

That's what I'm thinking Gabe. Looks like this truck won't be parked for the winter after all. Better go get my front driveshaft cut soon!

Yes she will Rick!

She really amazes me how well it runs/pulls for a 17 yr old truck. Guy that I used to work with and I picked up my old bosses skid loader and a bunch of tools to start a job Monday, well he will be starting it. Lol. He hasn't been in the truck since I did sticks and the ZF. I'm guessing we were pulling a little over 11k and it just flat out gets after it. Now, like I was saying in someone else's thread, I really have to keep an eye on boost/EGT's and I can't use ALL the power, but it hustles. Even without the intercooler, I'm limited by keeping the boost down before EGT's get too high. In most cases. I absolutely love towing with this ZF as well. Except for the 45 min stand still traffic we hit on the way home. Lol
