Seriously though it can be done with the turbo on the truck. I did mine a couple weeks ago and it took me about 3-4 hours. It wasn't fun, but it can be done. Getting the banjo bolt started into the new pump and keeping the crush washers on is the hardest thing. What I ended up doing believe it or not was finding a thin sheet metal wrench for one of my table saws that was the right size to get the bolt started. The wrench needs to be 1 1/4" or there abouts....
Oh, and use a 24mm socket on the crankshaft bolt to turn the engine over until the fuel pump lifts off it's seat. That way the cam lobe is at the top of its stroke and you can't lose the tappet off the bottom of the pump into the engine. It doesn't usually fall out but sometimes they do.
It helps to take the two bolts out of the fuel bowl too so you can wiggle it around to get the hoses off the pump.
