99 ranger gas/temp guage problem

Just purchased this truck and noticed the gas and temp guages neither work. Where do I start/ How about fuse box?

check fuses and the relays that is under the hood on drivers side fender,,,,

Download a copy of a 1999 Ranger Owner's Manual from HERE and it will show you the fuse locations and descriptions.

Checked today,no fuses for gas and temp.

You need to check fuse #11 located inside the cab (interior) fuse box.

If the fuse is good, then you need to do some more troubleshooting. Locate the temp. sending unit harness connector. Jiggle it, disconnect it, ground the wire, etc. while checking to see if there is any gauge activity.
