Nice truck!! If I may ask where did you get those "Ford" Hubcaps? and secondly, how did you lower the front end? Thanks!
Thank you!! The center caps are actually from a 90s f150. I drilled and tapped the wheels so I could screw the centercaps to the wheel. I cut aluminum circles and put in the centercaps with silicone and then put the stickers over that, I got the stickers from a place like this http://www.signdezine.co.uk/vinyl_graphics/proddetail.php?prod=3D-Domed-Gel-Ford-oval-wheelcenter&cat=80 I cant find the exact site but these are alot like mine. All you have to do is make sure you get the right diameter. For the front end.. I lowered it by cutting the I beams at the end where they start to go up to the kingpin. I added metal in and welded it to get it sitting right. Then took the I beams off and welded all sides and filled with metal. I didnt want to change the ride of it and did want to spend all that money on lowerig I beams. Everyone that has rode with me says how smooth it rides for lowering it! I didnt cut the coil springs or anythig. Just cut and weled the beams. THanks again.
How did you make sure the wheels were true when you put your centers in?
Nice job on the truck! Cant believe the state allows blacked out lenses! Need more pics of the beams!

Thank you!! Im not sure if they allow it or not, I have not had any issues with them so far, I have the truck taged as historic so maybe thats why. The centers fit pretty tight, I had to beat them in, so that allowed me to make sure they were center by bolting it on the truck and spinning the rear to make sure they were true. It took a few trys to get it trued up. But when I had it right I tach welded them, checked again and then welded them for good. I will have to get some pictures of the I beams. Thanks
Wow you really know how to get some work done! Your progress is amazing!! Keep up the good work!! That was a pretty slick idea you had for the led tai lights!

Got a new interior clear dome lens and got around to making my front turn signals LED like the rest.
Found a 9" 3rd member, posi lock with 3.70 gears. I was tired of the "One Tire Fire''
Then to find out the pinion seal was no good, so i had to replace that. While I was there.. I replaced the rear shocks.
Tried a 19 tooth speedo gear to try and get my guage right but it was not enough, so I ordered a 23 tooth, hopefully that will work
Found a real nice rear bumper, driver door and tailgate on craigslist.
Finally got around to installing the Bedside patch panels that I have had for about 6 months.. Pretty happy with how it turned out for my first time doing body work.
Got a new dash bezel from a donor truck that had no cracks, Then I added a Tach and repainted everything. wanted to try and make it match with everthing else.
I gotta say well done sir! Its awesome to see all the work you have done without spending huge $$$/paying people to get there. Im not a big fan of 2wd trucks in general but im loving the look of your truck so much that it makes me not want to part out my rust free 79 2wd lol.
Im sure you guys all have the same problem when you park your old truck... you have to look back at it about 5 times before you get in to the store or resturant.lol lol So I had to sit at lunch the other day so I could see ol girl. lol
I ordered some trim hardware the other day and just got them put on.
I finally got my speedo right, I had to go with a 23 tooh driven gear and its about 2mph off still, according to my gps. But thats close enough
I also have had a problem with the rearend bottoming out. So I decided to get some gabrial Hijacker air shocks for the back, I put 50psi in them and it did not change the ride, but it dosent bottom out anymore while driving. Pretty happy with how they worked.
