390/400 swap
Helo,
Recently my 79 f150 custom 2 wheel drive with a 400 and a c6 transmission was wrecked. I bought a 77 f150 4/4 that I plan on putting my old box and cap onto and it has what i believe to be a 390 or one of the other FE motors with a 4 speed manual. The 390 doesn't run and I think its is either a late 60's or early 70's motor because it has a points distributor and the engine mounts aren't bolted to the frame right. I want to drop my old 400 in the 77 and keep the 4 speed and 4 wheel drive. What do i have to do to make this work?
