When you lift your rig do you have to lengthen the sway bar links? I put a 2" lift on mine Ex and I now have popping and banging going on under the rig in three out of four corners. I have 100K on the rig and had new links put on at 40K in the front.
I'm really new at this so I asked a very similar question over in another thread relating to the V/Modified B code leaf spring upgrade. As my research leads me to understand this mod ends ups with a couple of inches of lift gained. I wanted to know if there were any other parts in the steering or suspension (specifically the stabilizer bar end links) that would need to be changed out.
The response I got was that others were still running stock components in this area.
Don't know if the lift you gained is somehow different, but I haven't done the mods yet myself as I'm still gathering parts. I just didn't want to put the new leafs on and then find out my sway bar end links don't work!!
Thanks Guys
I did the spring early on and had no problems then about 10K ago I got a kit off ebay for 2in lifts front and back and new shocks. Shortly after that I could hear a noise in the LF wheel well like something was hang and banging around now I hear it in the RF and LR area.
