Im thinking of doing this to my whole truck? anyone ever seen or done this? Ive seen it, it looks awesome! Its just going to be hard to find someone to do it professionally.
Interesting. We have done our racks on our Utility Quads before, and I have seen people do entire interiors of their 4x4 jeeps, but I never knew people were doing their entire vehicles, motorcycles etc. I just googled images of them... ha ha. That's not for me, but I can sort of see the fascination!
I've seen pics of trucks done online with linex bedliner and it looks BADASS. Make sure whatever you use isnt photosensitive or it will fade from sunlight.
I have used this extensively on my Unimog creations. I say go for it if the truck is in need. Works good. I never had it peel, get moisture underneath, or fade. (put on properly)
I put mine on a hardtop I built for the Unimog. Also the metal top and all steps into the truck as well as the inside floor. It is messy stuff to work with (no spray) but it made a pair of bulletproof pant knees from getting on my pants while I installed the stuff.
LineX lines the bed of my F350. I researched and bought something "better" for the Unimog but can not find the name anymore.
My interior and hardtop on my '78 CJ5 are Rhino lined and it looks good and is pretty resilient to scuffs and scratches. Only problem I have is that it take a lot of scrubbing to get clean after being in the mud.

Invest in a pressure washer. I bring my dads into work all the time to get our trucks clean. Cleaner than soap and a brush can get them, and in 1/5th the time.
For my choice Line-X seemed to be a hard surfaced product compared to the rubbery Rhino Lining. I've seen Jeeps done up top to bottom. You would need to worry about tree branches or shopping charts.

Yeah Rhino Lining would have a lot more "texture" to it. It usually has a bumpy texture which looks real rugged.
FYI the texture, whether Line-X or Rhino or ??, is the result of the technique of the applicator. Either of them can be sprayed rough or fairly smooth. It just depends on how it is applied. And they all eventually fade in sunlight. Nature of polyurethanes unfortunately. They do look great initially however.
The inventor of Line-X (sold it in 05' I believe) is making another liner called Bullet. Looks really nice from the ones I've seen.
Whichever route you take I'm sure you'll be pleased.
