Ok, I've almost got the '88 ready for the road. It has been a lot more work than I had hoped but once the exhaust is on it will be ready for a road test.
Unfortunately while under the truck I noticed the lower mount on one of the front shocks is rusted away. Not a big deal to change shocks but my budget is busted and I know it isn't going to pass inspection.
Have any of you guys used the budget priced shocks from autozone? Are they uncomfortably stiff? Pillow soft? Should I wait an extra 2 weeks and get better ones or are these things a decent buy?
