i do not remember talking to Amy about boost levels when i ordered my Hot X tune, it may have come up i just do not remember the entire conversation. I would half to imagine that if we started hearing about the Hot x tunes from SPE blowing turbos up, SPE would not still be offering it, there reputation would be on the line. thanks for the info darren, just need to get that AFE delete pipe ordered and a few hours one weekend.

I can tell as far as seat of the pants, the power is very smooth. I was only able to hit an on ramp once without any traffic (lunchtime). It boosts quickly and I hit 31lbs. from a 20mph roll in no time. Due to me not disabling the egt defuel on pyro 1 as the tune isn't calibrated for it and I don't yet have the block off kit, the truck thought it was hot and defueled back to stock. Quick call to SPE and tech got me set straight. SPE has awesome customer service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. SPE for the win!!

stangr8cr, that is good info since it sounds like i will be setting up the same as you, except for the the EGT block plates. what happened when it defueled back to stock.

When it defuels, it reverts back to the stock power setting as if your cold coolant were set and the truck wasn't warmed up yet. Runs fine, just don't have the tow/street/performance until the specific threshold is met (too cold/hot). I can't wait to get some more miles on her!! I have never enjoyed any of my previous trucks nor modified one more than this one, I LOVE my truck!!!! I'm sure you'll be plenty happy with the SPE tunes.
