I'm on my phone and can't find the search function and I'm sure this has been talked about so I apologize if it's redundant but I went thru several pages on here!
Thanks in advance!
What stat differences have you seen? Have you taken it in to see if the Ford Dealerships are going to void your warranty?
I have looked at several threads and I have seen people say
1) it voids your warranty
2) Just tell the dealership you had autozone run the "check engine light" codes a few times
3) Dealership is fine if the tuner isn't what caused the issue...
First off any unauthorized change of the PCM isn't warrantable. So you will be deleting at your own risk. Now with that being said, most will agree that as long as you don't abuse the truck and it has a problem to return it to stock to have warranty work done on it. In my opinion there are more positives then negatives when doing a DPF+EGR delete. Goodluck to whatever way you say.
I think it is going to depend on the dealer and the situation.
Around here a lot of trucks are deleted.
I have gotten a warranty alternator, water pump and PCM deleted.
If I went in with a blown turbo it may be a different story.
I have never returned my truck to stock to take it to the dealer.
I tuned it so it's my risk.
