OR this sealed automotive relay 12vdc 200amp for $22.50 shipped...
Stinger is high quality and is in the USA, the cheaper one is hong kong and is 1 month delivery... ill continue the search for the same relay located in the USA and repost...
Found this one as well, these are bad *** relays and are rated 200amp continuous and 300a surge. those other ones are rated 200a surge and around 120-150 continuous.
my stock one is still working fine at the moment but i would like to have one on hand. just wondering though, does anyone know how many amps the stock one is?

I believe its 100A, not sure if that is surge or continuous.
Never had any problems with the Stancor GPR on my previous truck. Worked flawlessly through all seasons.
Agreed. It's not even like they are hard to get ahold of either. A little more expensive @ $65, sure, but worth it to not have to jack around with the GPR once a year.

Just giving people another option... and stinger is a brand I can trust from experience. No need to shoot an idea down fellas
I like having choices, but, when I need one I need one. Like right now. My OEM relay lasted 370K, my NAPA replacement lasted 30K. 30K was this morning when I go to fire Jenny up to take the kids to school. I must have a pretty healthy motor becase she started at 30* after 30 seconds or so of cranking with out the glow plug relay pulling in and not plugged in, lots of white smoke but she was hitting all 8. I got on here later in the day specifically to check this thread with the thought that if anyone had posted good results I would go with the stinger. But then the old "if it aint broke" mentality kicked in and I spent $77 to get a stancor delivered fedex ground by friday. Others have had nothing but good luck with it so I figured why would I want to waste time and money both of which are important to me.
I applaude you for trying to expand the available options but for me even a small gamble with the before mentioned constants (time and money) just wasn't worth it. I hope you do get some feed back and eventuall more relay options are proven but I feel from feed back from this board specifically that I will never need another relay as long as I own this truck .
