It looks like you reside in Texas, so I do not know what your state inspection laws are like, but if you delete the EGR portion of the emissions controls you could be in violation of local or state ordinances. I know there are headers for that model truck that do have a provision for the EGR tube, you may want to find a set of those. The EGR is exhaust gas recirculation, and it is used to reduce emissions, I believe Oxides of Nitrogen. If you do not use the EGR, I think you will find you have some pinging issues that you will hear on acceleration, if you live where there are no hills to climb, you may be able to add higher octane fuel to avoid the pinging maybe not. Good luck on your project! Dale

The problem is not that it doesn't havr a bung for it. The bung on it is fine thread, the tube is standard thread
Tye, who manufactured these headers? I think if they were say Doug Thorley or Hooker, they woul have provided an adapter to make it possible to hook up the OEM EGR tube. Dale
