Delayed response

Whenever I hit the pedal to go from a stop or at a speed it is wanting to delay. It drives great just can't figure out why it's doing this. I push it it revs delays then goes. Any help is greatly appreciated.

That's going to be turbo lag that you are describing... depending on how bad it is, your turbo vanes could be sticking. Put your scangauge up and select VGT. You should never hit 15 or 85% while driving EXCEPT maybe after a hard acceleration and you let off the gas.

Thanks 99 is cleaning the turbo a pain for a first timer. Also I looked at my turbo the other day when I did my egr valve and noticed it looked like it was dented on the back side I think it's just the cover but I don't think it should be dented like that. Not sure how it happened. Thanks for the help one day on this I will be able to do the same.

It could be normal, especially if you're new (like me) to Diesels. I have never pulled a turbo and cleaned it, so I am the wrong person to ask... lol

Have you done the blue spring upgrade? Do you have a fuel pressure gauge? What's the pressure? Is it just slow from take off or also when you are at speed? If you are already traveling fast and you punch it and it's delayed, then you have issues. Need a scangauge to help. When you get a scangauge post back.
