Ok, back from the tire store. They were really concerned about my tires. They said, “we gotta put something else on there”. I agreed. I had researched and decided on a Cooper A/T tire since my only off-roading with this truck is to back up to the cow pen. He ordered the new Coopers and he is going to try and get Bridgestone to give me money back on my tires and try to get them to pay something on the fender also. They really are pretty good down there. He studied it pretty well and asked me a lot of questions including, "how is it parked". I told him, "if I am not driving it, it is in the garage". He said good. If it were left outside moisture can start to accumulate on tires not driven regularly. This water can heat which will put more heat in the tire itself but, he said he could tell the tread actually separated before the tire blew.

Most all of the employee's there have been to Bridgestone, Cooper, BFG, Firestone, and other classes on tires and how to select and diagnose issues.
