1955 F100 Bed Help
So check this out, last year I had purchased a different Bed for my 55 as my original was beat to crap. past couple weeks been working to get the other bed ready. All painted and assembled and come to find out after fitting the cross members and putting the bed on the truck, there are 2 holes that do not line up. the 4th hole from the tail gate moving towards the front of the truck in the side bed panels on both sides are in a different locations. I even pulled out one of my original panels and the wholes on the original are in a different location. The different location of these two wholes throw the cross member off. Even the new bed side strips all align with an exception of the two holes. So my question here, is this a newer model bed? say 60s or 70s? if so I'm wondering now if my fenders will align to the running boards. See the below pic.
