prime guard filters

Does anyone have any feedback on prime guard oil filters? I'm looking to stay in top of all my fluids and filters more that I'm at 200k. I see a lot of deals on eBay but don't want to be fooled.

Never even heard of that brand before.

Personally, I wouldn't cheap out when it comes to protecting my engine. Saving a buck a few times won't pay off when you pay a grand or two for a new engine.

I've been using Mobil 1 oil filters with shell t6 5w40

I've seen them for sale on a site or two, but I've never been willing to chance it. I always stay with the tried-and-true. FL1995 for 9.95 @ Wal-Mart.

From the internet site cause I've looked at my Wal-Mart and they said they don't carry it and were loaded with diesels here in Texas. I've found motorcraft oil but no filter

That's very surprising... If you have an autozone or advance nearby, either one of those should have it 100%. I've never been to either one of those that didn't have the FL1995 for our trucks
