7.3 and 6.9 Differance???
Hey guys can anyone shed some light on what is the difference between 7.3 IDI and A 6.9 IDI. I heard that there is a power difference. I wanted to know if there is a physical difference as well. For example, is the block the same? are the heads the same? will the mounts line up? By the way I have a 1994 7.3 idi turbo which threw a rod through the block. Still wondering what caused that? Thanks in advance!!!

I did a search for difference between, 7.3 and 6.9 and after extensive research, I have determined the difference is .4.
