The wife and I have a morning ritual where we discuss world, national and local events over a pot of coffee. Many times we offer advice to politicians but they're more interested in creating problems and maintaining confusion than listening to logic and common sense.
This morning our conversation drifted to my three old Ford truck and my timeline to complete Blue, the ’49 F4. She likes the trucks and enjoys riding in Missy Green, the ’56, but only tolerates the ’73 CS, although it is the nicest of the three at this time. She says it is too new. The discussion went farther with my timeline on Blue and then she hit me with.
“Why don’t you do an F1, I would like to have one to drive.”
So I guess my search and work is defined for my next project. She would like anything between a ’48 and a ’56. Of course, it will have to have AC.
Wow!!! That is a conversation most of us only dream about.
The truck Joe found is a beauty.
Scott, haven't people always said that a good truck is worth the trip. They could fly out and have a nice drive together back to TN. Your 48 will make that drive won't it?
I was within 40 miles of that truck just last week. That one looks like it is almost too nice to modify. I am in no hurry. It seems like the right truck, the bargain comes along when you're least expecting it.

I have no problems having the "right truck" at the "right price" shipped. I had Blue shipped from NM. Thank you again, Ross.
Ray, you may not be in a hurry, but we are not quite as patient. When it's someone elses money we are always anxious for it to be spent.
Is she OK with a manual or would she prefer auto?
Does she need power steering?
My guess is that you need to get one that you don't need to do a lot of work to.

Ummmmm, not exactly. No engine, more of a project truck.
Wow Ray, thats much better than the conversation I had with the little woman (AKA Snakebite) this morning. She started in grousing about having too much junk around the place......lol
....although, maybe if I get rid of some of the junk I'll have room for another truck...hmmmmm

Bobby
That's how it's suppose to work, it you have a space big enough for another truck/car it means you should get another one. You're just going to fill that space with junk anyways
