No dash lights

No dash lights
My dash lights are not working all the time. My guess is it's from a bad ground since every now and then 1 might come on for a while. Is there anything I should keep my eyes on when I open the dash up? Is there any tricks to keep them working? 78 F350

Try this...
Pull the headlight switch out of truck, inspect and clean as needed.
Look at the contact that "rides" on the rheostat spring, make sure it's free of corrosion.
I recently went through a similar situation on my truck. I cleaned the contacts thoroughly, reinstalled the switch and the problems went away.

Thanks guy's. Hopefully I can take a look at this Saturday. This will help shift my memory. I had this same problem with my hi-boy about 20 years ago & can't remember what all I did to resolve it.
