The standard door handle tool available works. Well kinda it does. They cost about a 5 spot at any auto parts store. You might squirt a little penetrating oil on them if you can (use the straw). I parted out a bunch of doors last year. Some of the handles were very stubborn. I honestly had about as much luck using my 90 degree mini picks and tiny screwdrivers. The clips are thicker and and harder to remove than the later wire style retaining clips.
