New Upgraded Sun Visor Question
Hi,
Purchased a like new set of upgraded lighted double visors that came from a later year PSD. All I had to do was drill one hole in the ceiling in each side to make it work. Once I had the old ones off, I fished around with my finger in the mounting hole hoping to find a cable to plug the light plug into, but could not find one. I know that many of the wiring harnesses have all the connectors in them, but are just not used in lower models for a given feature that does not come with that option.
Is there a plug hidden maybe down the piller? No big deal if there isn't, I am just happy to have the double visors.

There is a plug on the passenger side, near the floor board by the door. Pull back the plastic trim piece that is kind of triangular. It is a rectangular plug attached to the wall. This is the plug for factory roof marker lights.
To be really clean, you could try to find the factory harness to go from there to the roof.

What exactly do you mean by "Double visors"

IRC those have constant keyed power so what does the cab marker light connector have to do with running power to the visors? You need to run a keyed hot wire up the pillar from either side and to both visors. That way they will work anytime the key is on and not drain the batteries if it gets left on.

Yes, I am very happy with them. I won them on e-Bay.
At first, it did not look like they would fit my early '99 and I almost put them back up for auction, but after thinking about it a bit and finding that the base screws lined up with my trucks, I then decided it was worth the risk to grind away some material at the other end of the visors mount and drill a hole near the edge of the roof. Then it worked perfectly and look like the truck came with them.

Running a wire as you described is what I need to do, but my wife said she never uses the lighted mirrors in her Navigator, so it may not be worth it. I just like to have everything working, so I might still do it once I run out of other more important improvements for the truck.

Sorry, they were pretty badly deteriorated from the sun. This truck has been in the Southwest desert all it's life. Also, they are tan.
There may be a number of reasonably priced stock singles for both sides of your truck on eBay (where I got mine). I had been watching eBay for about 6 months before the tan doubles popped up as a Buy it Now. I don't remember any grey doubles, but I was not paying attention for that color.
The doubles are really worth it if you don't need them right away.
