2014 F250 Trailer wiring Questions

I know that this has been covered here many times before, but I haven't came across one the answers my questions 1st question is where can I purchase a factory OEM 7 pin plug that plugs into the back of the OEM 7pin/4pin flat plug receptacle that mounts to the receiver hitch? I bought this 2014 SD last fall and previous owner didn't address preventive maintenance. The original 7pin factory plug is corroded on the back side of plug and seems to be "Hard Wired" into the rear wiring harness, (I seem to recall earlier models had a separate plug that this pig tail could be replaced?) Keep in mind that I could be wrong because I have been wrong before. The reason I want to keep it factory is that I'm installing a in the box mounted sealed 7pin plug that is made to install between wiring harness plug (Male) and 7pin/4pin plug (Female) on hitch. 2nd question is upon discovering above mentioned corroded plug I cut off and removed old plug, I trimmed the 7 wires back and proceeded to check for power at first I only had a constant Hot wire 12V (orange/red) and nothing else. I read owners manual and found fuses in the main fuse box (under hood) blown changed and now I have both turn signals, 4ways, and stop lights. NO parking lamps (running lights) Yes I have checked fuses inside of the cab and found no bad ones. Any ideas? and YES I do have and checked for a good ground. I'm really NOT trying to write a book here, the more information I give should help with answers. but just to add this bit of information I also have removed the box in order to replace it with new one (tail lights are not plugged into the wiring harness) would this matter?
