Help please

06 F150 has completely died on me numerous times in the past week. Before that it had done the same thing a couple different time over the past 6 months or so. I have removed the throttle control and cleaned it, just a couple days ago, still having the problem. I initially thought it might be fuel system issues but that wouldn't explain everything shutting down in the middle of the road while driving. When this happens I can generally start it back up immediately. The past couple times though it has taken about two or three key turns. Hooked up at the dealership the only thing that showed was a throttle issue. They were also surprised about that. Anything like this happen to anyone else? I'm about to trade it off and be finished with it.

Check you fuel pump driver module it's mounted above the spare tire. That's probably your problem, easy and cheap to fix. Also since you already cleaned the throttle body you should also clean the mass airflow sensor. My truck had a problem with idling and kept dying on me and cleaning both the throttle body and mass airflow sensor fixed it for me. I much later changed the fpdm and it's a good thing I did because it was pretty corroded and most likely going to fail sooner than later. Hope I helped if you need link to tutorials on how to do all of the above I can post them for you.
