BAR Find!

Had lunch at a new beer and burger spot downtown today and found one our trucks inside the bar. They're using it as a beer tap!
I believe they made a good choice for the bar decor!

You must be in Virginia. That was featured on a TV show "Salvage Dawgs". It was made by Black Dog Salvage. They salvage and repurpose anything old. They claimed that this front end came from a school bus. I believe they sold it for $1500 to this restaurant.

Makes me want to put a few parts together from my private junkyard and charge $1500.

I sure am in VA. I am familiar with Black Dog- they have all kinds of old fixtures and house parts. Most of them are nearly the price of a house, but a fun place to walk through nonetheless.

Yes, they're expensive! I watch the show to get ideas.

Here's a screenshot from the show.

Very cool. My first thought though was; can't those lower fender panels be used on a truck?

I have a section just like that I cut off an rusted, bondoed up front clip I got for free many years ago. I've had it sitting in the mezzanine above my office for 10 years. Time to bring it down, gussie it up a bit and sell it.
