Can you identify this?

While preparing to remove the seat for the first time from my 56,,I came across this..any idea what itr is or where it might go?

That is a reluctor plate off of a 1963 Minneapolis Moline Hay Bailer . Any further questions should be directed to ALBUQ F-1 .

MM didn't make balers in '63 due to the impact of the great twine swindle. That's a guide blade for an McCormick Deering four row planter - probably from about the '20s. Ask Bob, he knows all about this stuff too.

I do believe you are mistake sir , why I saw one of those in much worse shape than that go for 116.00 on ebay just last week .

You guys are hilarious!

I actually do recognize that part though. It's a 1956 Ford Truck underseat rust collector. I'm kinda surprised Ross didn't recognize it. I believe they were standard from 48-56.

I'll go look it up in my parts book. Be back later...

Throw it away , and in a day or two you will find out just what it was , And it will cost an arm and leg to replace .

If thats the case and I am mistaken it should have a Ford Script logo in raised print on the clean side .
