clunking when first starting to move
my truck,a 95 f150,started clunking when i first start to drive,mostly when giving about half gas or so. its a 5 speed trans. ive looked it over a few times and dont see anything loose or any dents in the floor but something hits the bottom of the cab when starting off. anyone had this problem before?

Check your transmission... Haha.. Mine did that too. Found out I had a broken bell housing. Doubtful thats your problem though..
Youre sure its hitting the bottom of the cab? Any particular spot? Driver side or passenger side?

a quick thought....from experience...check the bolts on your drive shaft...front ones to the transmission and the 4 bolts to the rear end. I pulled my transmission a few months ago and lo and behold, the 4 bolts to the rear end were only hand tight. Lucky I decided to do the work before the drive shaft dropped. Also, sounded just like the clunks you described.
