F3 Push Rod Question

F3 Push Rod Question
Is the master cylinder push rod on a '52 F3 the same as a F1? I'm looking thru Mac's and all they have is a 1948-1956 F1 push rod.

Nope, F-2 and higher is longer because the crossmember and MC are a little further back. LMC among others has it, listed as only for F-2 but as you can see, all the larger trucks used it.

I may have a couple used ones from the two 52 F2-3 trucks that I recently parted out.

I have the one I removed, but I don't know how smooth they need to be. Mine has some built up crud on it that I can't seem to get smoothed down to the surface.

All that really matters are the conditions of the eye, and the rounded end. The eyes usually get pounded out of round.

My existing one has an indented area about 1/2" long all around about 1/4" from the rounded end, is that original?
