I finally got my remote key fobs working (that's another story ) and I want to see if I can get the codes off the modual in the truck, hopefully the PO didn't change them because I'll have to go to Ford. Being a GM guy I have no idea even where the modual is but read somewhere the code is on it. Any one have a clue, I looked in the stickies but no luck.........Bill
The easy way to local this module is by taking the auxillary ashtray out ( small panel with tab for hanging stuff). Once you have it out, you will need to use a flash light and look for a small black box with three connectors ( grey, green, blue ) plugged into this box. There should be a white label with black print. In the corner of that label should contain 5 numbers. Enter that code and it should work.

There is a way to reprogram the code too, once you find the factory code.
When pressing the controls on the keypad, press the middle of the controls to ensure a good activation.
To create your own personal entry code:
1. Enter the factory set code. The driver door will unlock.
2. Within five seconds press the 1 • 2 on the keypad.
3. Enter your personal 5-digit code. Each number must be entered within five seconds of each other.
4. The doors will lock then unlock to confirm that your personal keycode has been programmed into the module.
I tried and tried and finally had to pull my radio out move the insulation then reach in with my phone and take a pic. I just could not see it past the insulation. It did not take ten min. To pull out the radio and get it.

You may run into a problem with the newer trucks.
The word is that Ford quit putting that little label on
the unit, So that leaves you with going to someone
that can read it with a computer.
Nope, when I got the truck all it had was 1 key and that was it. I've had to get everthing else the hard way, and belive me the wheel locks sucked big time LOL
I did have mine. But my local dealer that I did not get the truck from said if I did not have
it that they would just go to the repair dept and barrow the master set and find the
right one for me and order it.
I find it helps to have a good relationship with your parts people.
I got lucky on the code and my card was in the owners guide that came with
a used truck. That was a nice surprise.
On the tag on the module I think it was 06 or 07 that they quit putting it on.
If you have a video bore scope that would be the easy way to look for it.
