Yep. That would do it

I developed a squeaky from the belt and/or accessories about a month ago. Came and went and then this week it has been non stop (except at idle).

In the past it has been my water pump, but not having seen any leaking yet as I did in the past, I hoped it wasnt that and looked else where. I was following my gut and thought it could be the tensioner.

In an attempt to get it off I broke the little socket as well.. Which put me in a heck of a bind because I already had the belt off. So at that point it had to come off one way or another.

Wellll.... The bolt was REALLY on there. Not budging and my breaker bar is 1/2". The socket is 13mm and I only have that in 3/8" and no adapter between the two. Faced with work tonight I was running out of time. I looked for pipe to put over my wrench to act as a cheater bar. No pipe.

I must improvise.

Remembering I had a broken weed eater in my bed, I got to work.
Open it up, disconnect the wires.. PIPE!

Well. My gut was right.

Yep. That would do it.

There's nothing like knowing how to be resourceful!!

I've had the same thing happen, but was more fortunate to have some cheater pipe handy when I did the R&R.
