Do not see place of manufacture on box; will pull switch back out in the next couple days to repair PO harness butchering; will check body of switch for made in signature.
If DC sold you C5OZ-6222050-A in error, the door cylinders will work, but not the C5OZ-11582-A cylinder that comes in this kit, fits: 1965 Falcon/Fairlane, 1965/66 Mustang.
Correct cylinder w/keys is C3AZ-11582-A that also fits 1966/77 Bronco.
OK, now I am really confused. So the Napa item I bought also lists these other applications : 1965-1966 Mustang and 60-65 Falcon (as do the lock cylinder and ignition switch sold as separate parts
So are some companies selling a repro based on C5OZ-11582-A and offering it as a replacement with a dubious wider application and others using C3AZ-11582-A as a base while expanding the breadth of application?
Who knows both of these trucks have been through the ringer, maybe the parts replacement people have been running such a scam for years; both of our trucks may have had the mustang version in it and DC is selling the correct part.

Pic from 1964/72 catalog, 1961/63 uses the same parts / See post 19 for Fairlane/Mustang applications.
C3AZ-6222050-B Lock Set ~ Left: Last application in column.
Right: 2nd/3rd lines: Individual parts could be bought separately (Ignition & F/D lock cylinders), but wouldn't be keyed alike.
OK, so finally figured out the problem with the set-up. The ignition switch bezel that all the repop places are hocking (Made in China - have purchased from 3 places and looks like everyone is getting from the same manufacturer) does not have a recess on the dash side to accommodate the three tangs on the spacer that slightly protrude through the dash from the backside. The original bezel is recessed to allow clearance. What this does is put pressure on the lock cylinder face where it contacts the bezel surface causing the lock cylinder to bind when released from the start position. The problem was solved by slightly filing the three tangs so they are not forced into interference with the dash side of the repop bezel. Another example of the repop manufacturers failure to pay attention to the unseen side of a part as well as the seen side of a part. And another example of my failure to address the simple first.
