I diagnosed a ruptured EGR Cooler, so I ordered the cooler from BPD.
I've removed everything and am down to the EGR cooler itself. I'm trying to push it back to slip it off the coolant line, but the up/down pipe (not sure which one it is) is in the way.
I've seen some videos that show the turbo mounting brack et off, but can't seem to figure out how to get that done.

Any help here?
Thanks...
The pipe you're referring to is the Up-Pipe...You may need to remove both upper bolts and loosen the two lower bolts, which will allow you to pivot it. Like Yahiko mentioned.....you will want to loosen the driver's side intake bolts and remove the passenger side intake bolts to raise the passenger side of the intake manifold.
The turbo mounting bracket should just have 4 bolts holding it down iirc, and as far as the blue hose goes doesn't the new cooler come with one? If it does cut that bad boy down the middle. The up-pipe on passenger side definitely needs to be loosened up or you will be fighting a long hard battle.
Once the notch on the hose is lined up with the index mark on the oil cooler, it won't just come off with an easy push. Might need to grab the hose and push real hard to get to come off. Mine didn't want to slide back easily. Kept thinking it was in the wrong position, just took a real hard shove.
I got it and it's all back together. I neighbor down the street is a Ford mechanic and helped me.
As for the oil cooler, I know I need to replace it at some point, but I just didn't have the money. I'm sure I'm not the only one on this forum that has had to put off mods for the exact same reason.
Again, guys, thanks for all your help. This is a great forum. Some day, I hope to be able to help other newbies here.
