Good evening,
Tried to replace the glass on the driver and passenger side this afternoon, after a few hours realized I have no idea what to do, or how to get the glass back in there. Struggling and sweating I returned to the house to consult the internet wondering if you guys had any advice.
Thanks in advance
VocaTexas, the door glass should have been more specific I dont know if it is just my oversight or I am neglecting to remove some piece just need a little trick or tip to get it to fit into the track itself.
The glass was already out when I bought the truck trying to put it back in looked did not see the bolt so I am figuring it is removed. Just cant get it to fit in the tracks if i get one side there is not enough room for the window to go in the other track
Thanks
If the bolt by the speaker is removed the lower track should be loose. You also need to remove the 3 small phillips screws on the top of the wing window track. Once those and the bolt by the speaker are out the track will be free and you will be able to line the glass up.
Hey thanks Ranger429, i figured her out today took some tinkering my buddy and I got both of em back in and the door panels replaced just needs some good cleaning now and the window and door molding.
