First off Welcome to FTE. You do have a beautiful truck.
Here's my two cents on it.
The bed trim looks like they're on the wrong sides. The tail gate is from a later model 67-72
Just thought Id point that out. I'm sure I'll be for commenting. But oh well. And because you did not say it was original, I didn't comment on anything else. It's a beautiful truck.
Welcome to FTE

Ya know, Robert might be right. I had to blow the picture up to take a good look. They do look up-side-down and on the wrong sides. Could be just how the pictures were taken, BUT.
Still, WOW! Nice work. So clean, I'm not sure I'd let it leave the garage.

Beautiful truck. I really like the detail in the engine bay.

You're like the "Rain man" of Ford trucks! Does anything get past you?

Just curious as to why you think the bed trim pieces are on wrong.

The angle at the rear should be opposite of what it is to be similar to the angle of the bed next to it.

September 1966: FoMoCo obsoleted the 1964/66 F100/250 2WD & 1966 F100 4WD Styleside tailgate (C4TZ-9940700-A).

Replaced it with the 1967 (1967/72) Styleside tailgate (C7TZ-9940700-A) for use as a service part replacement.

All the mounting hardware is exactly the same. C4TZ has large FORD block letters, C7TZ has smaller FORD letters that are surrounded by a raised ovate scallop line.

1965/66 optional body side mouldings: Hood and cowl mouldings are the same right & left, while the door, cab corner and bed mouldings are right & left specific.

The cab mouldings can only be installed one way, but if people don't pay attention or are unaware, the right door and bed mouldings can be installed on the left side and vice versa.

Those of us that own/have owned these trucks can usually spot the differences while most cannot.

I noticed these changes just after the thread was posted, didn't say anything, because I didn't want to hurt the OP's feelings.

But now that they've been brought to the OP's attention, there are other things besides the obvious that are amiss...that no one has pointed out yet.

If I had verified that the door mouldings are also right & left specific, I wouldn't have made that error...since corrected by editing.

Look at the pics, how many other things can you spot besides the obvious that are incorrect.
