All warranty servicing on any Ford product is referbed. Should be okay. What is your objective? If it is to simply replace a defective component with a factory replacement (easy to do, no add'l wiring cost, etc.) I understand that. On the other hand, there are numerous multi-channel amps in the after-market arena that offer much more flexiblity in shaping your sound. One thing to nake sure of (if you go this way) is to match your amp with the speakers (not only powerhandling, but impedance).
Hey,
Not replacing anything. Just see some JBL amps listed on ebay as refurbished. Was curious if anybody had took a gamble on the cheaper refurbished amps.
Thanks
you will be sorry. some repaird amps have a funny way of not pushing out the watts that they did. i had a crunch 800 w/max @ 2 channels

If your looking at JBL refurb amps...check out the New In Box JBL amps on EBAY. The new ones are only a couple bux more and they are still some of the cheapest out there. In fact, the newer JBL amps are some of the best watt per dollar amplifiers on the market right now.
Just EBAY one of the new ones, you wont be disappointed.

I think they are point blank. I didnt go with them because I needed a bass control as thats the only way I can control some of the bass while still keeping the stock radio.
