Did you read and check on the advice in post #4? You'd do best to call the BAR office and verify rather than rely on possibly incorrect information from an uninformed local source.

If you Know the Criteria for the monitors to complete , after repairing issues , you can get them to run and complete the readiness monitors . Common procedure ,in some shops . Yes , it takes knowledge and the proper equipment .

Thank you all. I got the van smogged today. Still had the evap not ready display. Seems that you can get smog with one "not ready". Two other smog testers said no. I am a happy camper. Don't believe all that you hear!
