2012 F250 Leveling

Hello everyone... I've got a question about my 2012 F250 which i has the following add ons.
Ride Rite Air Bags
Toyo AT 35x12.5x20's with XD Brigade Wheels and Rough Country 2 or maybe 2.5" leveling kit. I measured the leveling blocks and i thought the shop said they were 2.5" but they measured 2".

When i got the truck home, it really looks like it's lower in the rear now than the front. I let all the air out of my bags which i thought should be level just as it would be if it was stock with no air bags and with the leveling kit. Is this normal or am i just not use to the new look? I called rough country, which they are really great to deal with, and they said this is the kit they recommend for my setup. I'm just curious if others experience this with this kind of set up? I can always pump up the air bags but that's not really what they were designed for when the truck is empty. I thought the leveling kit was supposed to do just that, make it level.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Unless you are a paying member, FTE will not allow you to post pics directly.

You have to put them somewhere else.. FTE garage, profile, gallery, or some other site like photobucket.com

and then you can put links to the pics in your post. (by pressing the mountain & sun icon above the editor window).

Since a 250 already sits basically level from the factory, yes installing a leveling kit is going to make it sit low in the rear. With a 2" front spacer, if you use an F350 block in the rear, it will be almost perfect.

I have an F350 so I have the larger rear block with the 2 1/2" ReadyLift levelling kit and I keep 10 to 15lbs in the air bags just to keep my headlights at the proper angle or else I get flashed all the time. 10lbs in your air bags will not affect your ride quality that significantly at all and you may find that's all you need to level your truck. As already mentioned, adding the larger F350 blocks will also level you out.

Thank you very much for the info. I will check into the F350 blocks and see how this works out. What's the difference between F250 and F350 blocks inch wise?

The F-350 blocks are about 1.5 inches taller.

Crazy, Top Gun Customz has a great line up of blocks, pick your poison. I have purchased a few things from them including my TGC dual Bilstein steering stabilizer, very impressed with ship time & product quality - FWIW

BTW, I think non-paid members can still post pics, you just have to bring them in from Photobucket or other (read the post on adding pictures).
It's worth the few bucks to join though, and support the Forum, you will be using it as a resource often, for sure..!

Im going through this leveling mess myself with an f350, my stock blocks, are 3 1/2" tall. I have the 2 1/2" front and 5" rear blocks and it doesnt look.right. Sits way too high 13" from tire top to fender in the rear is way too much. Im going back to stock in the rear and using a 1.5" front level block. I think a 2" will still be nose high with f350 blocks especially if you have the snowplow prep or heavy service suspension.

After reading a bunch of the posts and doing some research, i'm going to go with the 4" blocks in the rear and leave the 2.5 in the front as it is right now. I think the 4" in the rear should level things right up since it will be raising the rear up 2" from where it is now.

I do want to let everyone know that Rough Country is awesome to deal with and they will help you out in any way they can. When i first called them and explained my problem, they asked me to send pics and have been helping me out ever since. It's nice to deal with companies who care.

I'm getting ready to join and when i do, will post pics of my ride.

The stock f350 blocks are not 4" they are 3 5/8" if you leave 2 1/2" in the front the rear will sit lower than the front. I have an f350 with 5" rear blocks & 2 1/2" up front snd that just makes level. Im pulling it all out and putting 1 1/2" up front
